Mavis Camera to Cloud

Instant Uploads, Global Impact

Mavis C2C streamlines the content creation process by enabling progressive upload of video directly from Mavis Camera to Grass Valley Framelight X, SonyCi, MediaSilo or Amazon S3. This enterprise grade workflow provides users with a pathway to get content into the cloud at scale. Enterprise developers can also access content via API calls giving users the ultimate flexibility when developing their own custom solutions.

How it works

When using Mavis C2C data is uploaded to Mavis Hub Cloud as secure encrypted chunks. Once an upload is complete the final asset is transferred to an integrated third party platform.

Uploading content to Mavis Cloud Hub means that all integrations can take advance of powerful Mavis technologies, which bring the benefits of progressive (real-time) uploads, fast parallel-chunk uploading, automatic retry logic and secure encrypted data management.

It also provides remote device management enabling teams to centralise control over where and how assets are delivered from device to third party platforms.

Mavis C2C requires an internet connection to pair a device / app and upload content to the cloud. The network speed (bandwidth) required for upload is a complex question that is discussed in this support article. One thing to note is that, because Mavis C2C uses progressive (real-time) uploading for all integrated services, the required bandwidth for timely uploads is significantly reduced.
