Mavis’ mobile video apps and services allow content creators to capture, produce and distribute content the fastest way possible. Originally spun out from the University of Sussex, the company now has partnerships and integrations with industry leaders including Adobe, Atomos and Grass Valley.
The Mavis platform brings a new level of control and precision to the iPhone that goes beyond the default consumer app. It uses the iPhone’s superb connectivity to create rapid, robust workflows that get breaking news and events published within minutes. With its easy-to-use yet powerful video tools, it brings ergonomic and granular control to smartphones and other video hardware platforms.
The Mavis platform includes professional timecode, comprehensive audio management and can capture up to 4K video in space-saving H.265 or film and TV industry-standard Apple ProRes. It can also connect to NDI and Haivision SRT sources and destinations.
The completely redesigned Mavis Camera App, together with the Mavis software ecosystem places the company’s technology at the heart of every mobile video production. Mavis is headquartered in the vibrant UK seaside town of Brighton.
